Film Screening
As an extension of his course, Prof. Dr. Smith encourages his students to attend a short series of ethnographic films that he will be screening this semester with the help of the IKGF. The series is going to begin this Thursday at 18h15 in the IKGF’s “small” seminar room. This week, he will be providing a brief introduction to and screening Jean Rouch’s 1958 breakthrough piece of ‘ethno-fiction,’ Moi, Un Noir. You will find a brief description of the film on the webiste.
