The SDAC is happy to announce that our research fellow and coordinator, Anna Schneider, has received one of FAU’s very own doctoral scholarships (FFL) as part of “the programme to realize equal opportunities for women in research and teaching” by supporting outstanding female doctoral candidates in the final stages of their doctoral degree organized by FAU’s graduate centre and the Office for Gender and Diversity.

Starting in August, Ms. Schneider will be on leave for one year to concentrate on finishing her doctoral studies on human-animal-interactions in Social Sciences at FAU in cooperation with the department for Dog Studies at the Max Planck Institute in Jena and Raubkatzen- and Exotenasyl in Ansbach. We are excited about this opportunity and wish her all the best for the upcoming year!
