The semester in Beijing was a great chance to explore the local culture, start learning the Chinese language, and practice it every day.During the semester I deepened my knowledge in behavioral studies by taking courses at Peking University. Along with the studies, I joined Peking University’s Office for Global Communications as a student journalist, which allowed me to participate in many events held by PKU.

That’s how I got to know many Chinese as well as international students. I was also a part of the content creation team for PKU English social media accounts, which helped me to come up with my master thesis topic.

A semester is a short time to explore China but I managed to see most of the popular sights in Beijing, meet a lot of interesting people, and enjoy the local cuisine.

I would definitely say, that I enjoyed the experience!
