SDAC Guest Lecture Series: Dr. Tijo Salverda

Our next guest lecturer is Dr. Tijo Salverda, who is affiliated with the University of Vienna, Austria, where he has recently completed a three-year professorship in social and cultural anthropology. His research focuses on elites, inequality, moral economy, and corporate actors, including how they perceive and respond to counterpower. In this lecture, Dr. Tijo Salverda will discuss how corporate actors respond to societal concerns about labour conditions, safety standards, exploitation, land grabbing, human rights, pollution, etc.

The lecture will be held in person, in room PSG I R 2.058, 2nd floor, Kochstr. 4, Erlangen, on Monday, June 5th, 4-6 pm (c.t.).
